Sneak Preview: Why You Should Read LIVINGSTON GIRLS

This post will go live on Wednesday, so please don’t share it before then! Thank you all so much! <3

In case you missed it, I’ve been working on my queer YA contemporary fantasy novel Livingston Girls for almost three years now, and I’m publishing it this year! In fact, it releases in just a few shorts months, on March 24, 2020. I can hardly believe it. Still, I am so, so excited for this release, and I want to get more people excited about it too.

If you’ve read the teasers (Chapter One, Chapter Two, and Chapter Three), have seen all my Instagram posts about the book, or have discovered it via Twitter and you’re still not convinced you should read it, I have a few more compelling arguments for you.

Livingston Girls features:

  • #ownvoices bisexuality representation
  • Queer POC
  • Romantic poetry (think: Dead Poets Society)
  • Lesbian representation
  • Messy, flawed characters
  • WITCHES AND MAGIC
  • Found family trope
  • NO BURIED GAYS
  • Enemies to lovers trope
  • “Oh my God, they were roommates”
  • KISSING!
  • Hope
  • Comedic relief
  • Compelling voice
  • GORGEOUS cover art by J. M. Steger
  • So many F E E L I N G S
  • Complex and relevant themes
  • Did I mention LESBIANS??

Livingston Girls is the book of my heart, and I’ve poured my soul into creating it. I hope you’ll love it as much as I do. At the very least, I’m convinced it’ll keep you entertained.

Although this book isn’t out until March 24, you can now preorder ebook copies! I’ll have the paperback and hardcover options up soon, so keep an eye on this space. And, don’t miss out on my presale giveaway!

In the meantime, subscribe to my mailing list for updates, add the book on Goodreads, support my work on Patreon, and follow me on Twitter and Instagram! Thanks so much for your encouragement, love, and generosity—they mean the world to me.
